Re: Washington State Muleys
big28hunter, where we deer hunt the deer are considered "Benchlegs" which is a Mule deer blacktail cross. My friends farm is south of Yakima. We have taken some real dandys over the years, and have always felt that the mule deer qualities run thicker than the blacktail. Blacktails are very abundant in western WA through out the Cascades. Eastern WA we are blessed with Mule deer and Rocky Mountain elk. Take a look at hunting-washington.com Loads of info and stories!
And, Thank you, we did have a GREAT year! We also hunted Oregon and harvested a small Whitetail buck. We saved up our vacation time and hunted almost all of October! I was sad to miss the Pennsylvania season this year, but there is always next year!
