calls and scents?

to late to use doe in estrus scent or bleat calls?

i use doe in estrus every now and then. so far all it has brung was 5 doe. so i would say it is a little to late for the scent. it has not worked for me...

I use doe bleats to stop deer or bring bucks closer all the
time. It works better than grunting IMO. Doe estrus scents
may work but they don't always bring bucks in. I have shot
bucks in rifle season that came in to them before.

I'd rather be fishing or hunting!

i use sents an calls during rifle season an have had pretty good results...my gf last year shot a nice 7 point right after i ggrunted an ratteled a lil he showed up 10 yards down wind ive noticed alot of yourger bucks will responsed as well as doe...but it allways worth a shot i missed an 8 friday an was grunting an used fawn blest as well as sum estrus an he showed up right as i got done calling its worth a shot

ok thanks. cuz up were i hunt there is a a field and a big 8 keeps coming in it after dark. trying to get him in earlier so i can get a shot. and i cant find out were he is coming

I have had luck with scents and the can call in the past. I have never had rattling work for me though.

Opening day of rifle, I shot an 8 point that was chasing a doe. On saturday I witnessed 2 small bucks chasing a doe, so no it's not too late to use them. Good luck.
