Daughter's first buck

Well my daughter went out hunting with her boyfriend yesterday and got her first buck, a 6 pt. I'm very happy for her but at the same time I feel like I got robbed of a very special moment of my life with my daughter. Not being there for her first buck. Its something that I very much wanted to be a part of. Oh well thats what happens when they grow up. I am very happy for her to get it because she was about to give up deer hunting all together and he talked her into going with him. She told me she had the chance to shoot a monster 10 pt but was shaking to bad to get a good shot and didn't want to wound it so she told him to shoot it and he missed it. Here are some pics!

Blend in or go hungry !!

Congrats to your daughter! And to you too! Even though you weren't there with her you must have done some things right to get her there in the first place!

You really under estimated the ramifications of the boondoggle you have just perpetrated!

It's a shame you weren't there but maybe now your daughter will stick with deer hunting and you'll get to go with her in the future.

Hunting: 10% skill and 90% location.
