It was pouring in Erie County this morning when we woke up, I actually considered leaving Leah who is 13 sleep in for awhile while I went out myself.
I woke her and told her we would just go for a couple hours till we got good and wet.
We did not even walk out of the house till light thinking we would still hunt on the way we had picked out to sit.
We got to our selected spot and only sat for 15 minutes in pouring rain when this guy (button buck) walked right up to us.
It was about 18 yard shot in neck, I gave her the okay and her little rifle barked....deer dropped in its tracks.
It was a very wet morning but worth it!

Sorry for bad pics, but it was pouring rain!
