too many deer?

a letter in todays paper from a person that hit her second deer in 30 years, suggest that PGC should extend the season by several months, pay a bounty, and put out feed that will sterilize the deer. claims that the deer are causing it to be too dangerous to drive. where do these people come from?

Re: too many deer?

The deer probably say the same thing about her. The deer were here long before she was.

Re: too many deer?

Road Kills are a part of living where we do , but if more people would pay more attention there would be a lot less. I drive roads that have a lot of road kills but I am constantly scanning the sides for deer . At night I will drive slower on these roads especially during the rut, only to be tailgated by someone and then passed at 70 mph. I wonder what these people are thinking

Re: too many deer?

With the number of people texting and having the phone in their ear it is no wonder there are roadkills. Something needs to be signed into law!
