Moon Phase

In your opinion, how does the moon phase effect deer movement, especially during the rut?

I ask because I really didn't see many buck chasing doe in the first 2 weeks of November, but during the 3rd week I've seen some big buck chasing doe. And of course you cannot shoot any buck right now. But in 6 days it all starts again.

Re: Moon Phase

When its clear skys and full moon plus warm temps, I think they move more at night and less during the day, but there is usually a peak during daylight hours from 10 am to 2 pm

Well, sometimes you eat the bear, and sometimes, well, he eats you, so the Dude must abide!
