Opening day caliber choice........................

So, just curious, what caliber will you be toting into the woods for opening day 'o buck?

I have 3 to choose from and have not made up my mind yet. They are the '06, 300 Win Mag or 257 Weatherby Mag.

Re: Opening day caliber choice........................

I'll have my oldest son with me thanks to the mentored youth program. We'll have a Remington Model 7 youth chambered in 6mm. My youngest son is also a mentored youth and will be with my father and they'll have a Remington Model 7 youth chambered in .243.

I'll eventually take my Remington 700 mountain rifle chambered in .280 for a walk.

I'm Really looking forward to spending time with the boys.
