Colorado Bound

Leaving for Colorado for third rifle season for elk and mule deer. Different location this year going to be at 9000' and camping. Havent done this since early 70's in the boy scouts hope i can handle it. First time i pulled a deer tag previous years had to watch trophy bucks walk by.

Re: Colorado Bound

You should have good hunting weather and conditions. A snowstorm came through last night and this morning. Even down low where I live, we got 4 inches. Most of it melted today but I can see white all over the high country.

I had 21 muley does and fawns across from the house today and not one single buck with them. last year at this time, the bucks were hanging tight with the does.

Good luck.

Good luck outofstater! You'll be able to handle it, no problem. Enjoy the trip and time away. We'll need pics when you return.
