The deer gotta be skitish today?

When I awoke this morning,I went outside for a ''coffin nail''
The Sun is shining and the snow is melting fast. The snow is very heavy and loud.
The deer I thought must on full alert, with all the movement and sound?
Tomorrow should be a good day in Penns Woods.

Saw a lot out in the open fields today browsing, the noise in the woods is probably making them jumpy.

Well, sometimes you eat the bear, and sometimes, well, he eats you, so the Dude must abide!

Re: The deer gotta be skitish today?

Took my son with me today to see what the deer would be up to here in lower Berks county. We got to watch what looked like a decent 6 pointer chasing some does around in a field down the way from us. We sat and watched then moved in closer using the sound of the melting snow falling from the trees as cover. We just got home a little bit ago and we walked around our property checking out all the downed limbs when through the woods I see a doe and her little button buck go running across the field. Again using the sound as cover we made our way over to see this little 4 pointer chasing after her. Can't wait till morning, the snow seems to have awaken the deer
