Bucks fighting... pictures

I checked two of my trail cameras yesterday and had a feeling I was going to see something good. On the first camera I had a bobcat. I've had them on camera before, but not this year until now.

Then I checked another and had two bucks fighting. Here are a couple of the shots:

After the fight was over, the next several photos show the winner sniffing around where the fight happened, and then he laid down in front of the camera for about 14 minutes. This picture shows him grooming himself. He needed it because his hair was all messed up. Notice that he still has his ears laid back. Maybe the stress of even a small fight lasts a little while.

These were young bucks, not more than 2½ years old, but I guess this means the rut is heating up. I'm planning on going to Ohio Tuesday.
