First I would like to thank GWH for posting the photo's for me. This is the my biggest Buck in 39 years of Deer hunting. I got him on state forest land in the BIG WOODS of Clinton County at 810am on 11-29-2010. Here are the specs so to speak. He field-dressed 185 lbs. with an est. live weight of 215 to 220 lbs. His antlers were 5" at the bases and 20 1/2" wide. The taxidermist told me he thought he was at least 4 1/2 years old and more than likely was 5 1/2. He gross scored 140 5/8". In my part of the state this Deer is a MONSTER. NO FARMLAND DEER but a Big Mature mountain Buck.A real wall hanging trophy of a lifetime and I feel really fortunate to have taken him. I bagged him with one shot in the neck at 95 yards with my Tikka T3 Lite Stainless 270 WSM. Good thing I got him in the morning because it took my son and I six..... yes six hours to get him out of the woods! What a job. The next day I felt like someone had beat me up HA! Thank you fellas for taking a look and reading the post.Good luck to all this year.
