BIG BUCK KILLED IN THE BURBS NORTH OF PITTSBURGH

Anyone hear about the MONSTER BUCK killed in the Burbs North of Pittsburgh. Saw a picture my friend sent me via text and it looks like it would go well over 200". Just wondering if it is true or if it is fake or a high fence kill.

If it's the one that's been posted here a few times already it's fake, as in not even a buck.

Picture looks like a new one. My buddy is pretty reputable. Said it was killed close to where he lives. Will talk with him soon and ask if he saw the deer yet?

If it is a real big buck and you're looking at it from the rear and a guy is crouched at the head looking at the camera while wearing a blue shirt, I haven't seen it.

Shooter Showcase has a picture of a 170's buck killed on the border of Allegheny/Butler county.

Double-lung20, what makes you say Cranberry Township? Are you hearing something. PS, there are no big bucks in CT, move along nothing to see. ; )

Re: BIG BUCK KILLED IN THE BURBS NORTH OF PITTSBURGH

A buddy of mine sent me a pic of buck supposed to be in the 200" class that was killed in butler county.

I don't believe any texts I get unless I know the guy holding the rack. Just too many fakes going around.

Re: BIG BUCK KILLED IN THE BURBS NORTH OF PITTSBURGH

I've gotten no less than 4 texts of a buck that was supposed to be killed in "hickey bottom" in butler PA. It looked like it would push the 200 inch mark. Not that I don't think deer like that exist here, but c'mon 200? I checked PGC's website and there are only 12 200+ inch deer taken in PA EVER!

Most of them were 50 years ago. 1 last year. The record bow buck in PA is like 178 typical. There was only 1 non typical bow buck ever taken that was over 200 and that was in the 40's I think.

I'm like John, I don't believe it unless I see it or one of my buddies has held it. There is a high probability that buck was fenced, or not even from this state.
