Did anyone else see that? 3 elk a cow and 2 bulls were found shot to death with a small caliber along Quehanna Highway in Medix. That is a shame. Hope they find the scum bags.
What a waste. The sorry trash that did this will likely be caught. Because they are stupid and foolish and he or they will tell someone. And that person will tell someone. And sooner or later some other low life scum that does not like them or an ex girlfriend, somebody, will drop a dime and they will be caught. Just hope its sooner than later.
There were elk shot the last two buck seasons here in northern Centre County. Another bull shot last month near Karthus.
On opening day of gun season, I had two cows and a calf come in bow range of my climber. The one big cow was calling non stop, kept looking back on its back track. I heard a volley of 9 shots about 20 minutes before they showed up. I was thinking to myself that someone popped that cow’s calf. Never heard anything about any being shot however.
I wonder if these idiots realize what they could be facing. I seen that earlier on fb, could not imagine anyone with that big of brass balls to do a stunt like that. Very sad!
Hope they are caught, I hope that wanton waste is also included in what ever charges are filed. Shooting any animal and wasting it is wrong. This along with all the other illegal acts involving these three animals.
Well, let's see; we could draw and quarter the puke or stretch the neck or firing squad naw, 20 years in the slammer and $5,000 per animal should be a wake-up call. disgusting situation.
the Pa elk heard is such a conservation success story and has taken about 100 yrs and if I remember right the population was down to about 30 animals at one time
people that do this crap should have very high penalty when caught
Has anyone heard of any updates on this terrible act, some low life committed.
