Sunday Opener ?

Brace yourselves
Rep. Bill Kortz an Allegheny Democrat has introduced a Bill to change the Opening day of Deer season
to the Sunday after Thanksgiving. House Bill 989.
His bill he said would expand hunting in general and start Deer season on a day that many
have off from work or school.

I know most haven't accused the BOC of being overly politically astute/savvy, but could this all have been some gamesmanship on their part to force SH into the spotlight and add a little pressure to the Legislature?

The Saturday opener I believe still won't be official till June.
A Sunday opener might very well be the happy medium here to appease more hunters.
