The higher participation will also build stability for the future of our hunting tradition in Pennsylvania....

-Its not about hunters wants. Its about participition, period. Participation will lead to sales because it creates more oppurtunity to participate. Greater oppurtunity to create new hunters, draw previous hunters back that may have not bought a license and so on.. These are not garunteed results of the change, it merely creates the possibilty that, given that the majority of folks work or go to school monday-friday, will be able to participate. This includes those casual hunters who may not have that oppurtunity with a monday opener, thus leading to them buying a license to hunt saturday.....
what new hunters, what previous hunters?

It’s funny how many will assert that moving the opener won’t make guys quit but somehow it will make them start.

Is it typical practice to build stability by actively crushing the foundation?
