Mifflin County Monster

This buck was killed in Mifflin County in Treaster Valley. It is a 12 point, 7 on one side 5 on the other. It is 25” wide and was killed by a retired Mifflin County school teacher. What you think it scores?

Being its lopsided should it be measured non-typical instead of typical? Which way do you believe will work the best?

That is not a none typical rack, it will have to be measured as a typical rack. Just because it is uneven, doesn't make it non typical. It will have deductions for every point that is on one side and not on the other. That said, It is a great buck and if it does not make the record book or score high, does not make it any less an great buck. There are few perfect racks, that is why they score higher than others. But, how many of us hunt buck for the B&C or P&Y scores?

When you are up to your butt in alligators, it is hard to remember your intent was to drain the swamp. Stay focused!

Yes sure is a great buck congrats to the guy who killed it. Treaster Valley is a big valley and there are alot of places for a buck to hide. I have hunted there for gobblers and every now and then I come across some large rubs that just make you wonder how big the buck was that made them.

A squakin' turkey don't live long
