Awesome miserable opening day

Rain is sometimes a 4 letter word. BUT! Today I saw 14 doe ( Including the mother of all doe. She would clear 200 pounds with room to spare), the southbound end of a VERY big deer and a very confused 3 pointer, that try as I might, I just couldn't make him sprout another point...
I filled my antlerless tags (5C) back in October's muzzleloader season...
The deer were very active, even in the heaviest rain.
Tomorrow's another day!Good fortune to all!

I have found that often crappy weather days are the best. Good weather the guys will sit all day. Cold and rain guys tend to go for a walk about. LOL I do that also when I'm freezing. Good luck tomorrow.

My son and I saw 8 doe. All I can say is thanks to the guy who invented the tree umbrella. Without it we would have been done by noon.
BillHjr and OAWC like this.

I don't have ducks. I don't have rows. I have squirrels. And they're drunk.

Saw the south bound end of 6 north bound deer. More than all of last year hunting.
