Ammo limit

I have always been under the impression that there was a 5 bullet limit for buck season, possibly because I started with a 30-30 that held 5.

My boy has a Henry that holds more than that and PGC told him that as long as it is a lever and not a semi to fill it up.

Learned something today

I prefer my kid hunt and fish rather than steal and deal,

I thought it was 3? I can tell you, if I need more than 2, there's a problem...

Yeah, there is no limit in manually operated firearms. Nor is there a limit in semi auto shotguns for big game. Technically, the shotgun pictured is legal to hunt big game with state wide now.

I don't have ducks. I don't have rows. I have squirrels. And they're drunk.

Not always. I shot a bear in 1996. I thought I put a decent shot on it with the first shot but it ran. It was running in somewhat open forest and heading to thick laurel. I decided that I would send a few more rounds his way and anchor him. Glad I did.

I once saw a guy empty a 10 round mag from a 760 back in the days of the 3 day doe season. He didn't hit one deer!

If you can't shoot straight, shoot often.

There is one occasion where cartridges or shells are limited 5. in rifles or shotguns for big game.

It is unlawful to hunt
(2) Any automatic or semiautomatic firearm, except that any semiautomatic firearm modified to permit one shell in the chamber and no more than four shells in a magazine may be used by a person who suffered an amputation or lost the total use of one or both hands.

When you are up to your butt in alligators, it is hard to remember your intent was to drain the swamp. Stay focused!

i feel like the same limit could be used if they ever legalized semi rifles for big game.
