eyebrow buck

So I'm curious...I've seen a lot of deer in my time, but I don't recall seeing them with eyebrows like the buck I took last archery season...is this unusual or is it just my imagination?

I'm talking about the black markings over each eye.

I just looked through my digital albums to see if I noticed this. I'd say about half or a little more of the bucks on trail camera or that we've killed over the years have noticeable 'eyebrows' like the OP shows. None of the doe seem to have them and the bucks that have them seem to vary from faint to prominent-enough-to-call-them-prominent.

He's a handsome fellow and the eye brows do make him look a little unusual. Nice buck.
