Scouting?

Between work and home renovations been pretty busy but decided to take a time out this morning
to check out my local private spot.
With the thick summer growth didn't see much visible sign besides the trails in the high grass.
Decided I would pull the cams bring them home to clean up and freshen the batteries and check the cards.
Hadn't had a chance to check them since early spring Turkey.
Kicked up a nice Buck retrieving camera #2, Didn't get a point count but no doubt he was a shooter.
After reviewing the SD cards, had at least 6 different Bucks with 2 being dandy's along with some Doe's
and a couple good pic's of some fawns.
Had me thinking on the ride home that I better get moving in my preparation, with the early opener in the Special Regs. areas
under 2 months away I'm a little behind.

Sounds like fun Joe! Could you recommend a card reader? I decided to buy one this year. Tired of pulling chip, putting another one in, then driving home to check them.

I use my camera as a card reader. I check the SD cards on site, decide to relocate or leave them in place.

That's pretty much what I do, it is a pain.
I have a WidGame innovations viewer that's works good, 4" screen but it's tough to make out images in the daylight. So I have extra cards and just keep swapping them out.

My son and I went out last weekend after dark with the spot light. We went to the local private property that we hunt and jumped two nice bucks. One was an eight and the other a six. Hope to run into one of them this season.
