Meanwhile, out there in Montana....

...The webcam at Logan Pass Visitor Center snagged a cool photo of a mountain goat walking along the roof around 9:15pm last night.

It's always been my contention if there aren't any valleys around (and I don't see any on that roof) the ridges are the best places to look for goats.

I've been there a few times. The goats are like gnats as you walk the Hidden Lake Trail from the visitor's center. Sometimes they just stand there until you almost have to push them out of the way. Still cool to see them though!

Goats are goofy. My aunt had one that used to get on top of the roof of a mobile home. I was checking some beehives once in a field where goats were pastured. I left my truck door open and when I returned there was a goat standing in the cab of my truck. I fought that thing for 10 minutes to get it out. I had started to chew on the bench seat of the Ford.
