Be honest . Have you ever used a deer lure that worked? I mean more than once it had deer come to it ?

I find Paul Pollicks products worked very well, but I have stopped using any urine based products in my area until they can prove that CWD is not spread from its use,but that is just my take on it.

Tried some about 20 years ago and never had it work. Haven't used any since.

I became a true believer in Evercalm this year.

My father in law spilled French Vanilla coffee on his hunting coat the one year and got a nice piebald buck later that day. Does that count?

As for me, I don't use any attractant. I don't trust that it really works, and you can never be sure it isn't just snake oil meant to make some clown rich.

I use Evercalm as a cover sent. I don't think it has any ingredients that attract deer.

I set out those little orange bottles that you pour scent into. I use them for range markers but I did use them for scent at one time. I cannot remember one time they attracted any attention from a deer but I did have plenty of deer walk past them.

There are two ways to be fooled. One is to believe what isn't true; the other is to refuse to believe what is true.

What I have noticed with Evercalm is it has relaxed deer and kept them in my area. On several occasions I have had deer become skittish around me and then smelled the Evercalm I had rubbed on trees and stay in the area. They seem to forget about the blob in the tree above them or that they may have smelled a human. I have watched them actually come back just to get another whiff before they move on. Also had one smell the stuff and then bed down right underneath my tree. Not using it really to attract a rutting buck. Just don't want anything spooking and blowing on me and also something to maybe give me a few extra seconds for a shot. Plus there is nothing wrong with does wanting to hang out around you during the rut. Like anything else it doesn't work all the time but I think it helps. Also like to rub the stuff on the soles of my boots too.

Rut type lures have always been hit or miss with me and never produced results like Evercalm has.
