3 weeks+

Ahhh only 3 short weeks until my favorite time of the year (actually the whole month of November is favorite time) .
Spending the week at deer camp at our cabin in beautiful Potter County.
Have been doing this for 35+ years and look forward to it every season.
This year my son gets to join us again after finishing his apprenticeship with IBEW.

You are fortunate that you have this tradition and that it is still going on.

Sounds like a great tradition continues for you and I know how much you probably anticipate it. I used to be part of a great crew that made opening day into a 6 day holiday. Over the last 5 years our group of 7 has dwindled down to 3. It is like pulling teeth to get folks to go hunting these days.

Best of luck to you this season at camp!

I support all hunters, regardless of weapon or technique!

This is our 39Th. year. I will be leaving next Friday for bear and staying thru the 2 weeks of rifle. Our regulars will be there during the first week then some guys leave and come back.

We've had Thanksgiving at our camp for the past 8 years. Being there for bear and the first week of buck kind of helps.

That looks like heaven on earth right there. My wife actually brought up that maybe we could look into a camp in a few years. Always been a dream of mine. Enjoy your time up there.
