So....My area now is a CWD DMA

Never hunted in a CWD DMA area before...So

Do I have to take all my deer in for testing? including archery season?

Can I process (debone) my own deer?

Can I choose my own processor ( bologna and sausage ) ?

Thanks
NR

You do not need to take them in for testing, but you do need to dispose of them in a PGC dumpster. You may process your own. And any processor you use must be in the DMA and be on the list of certified or registered DMA processors I believe.

I saw this deer in Monroe County last week along the Brodhead Creek showing ALLLLLL the signs of CWD. Just stared at me like a zombie. If Monroe isn't listed it will be soon.

unless they changed it then you dont need to take it to a PGC dumpster, you just cant take the hide and bones out of the CWD area.
