Deer feed

I have a buddy who has a camp in Clearfield Co. He said the PGC told him they weren't allowed to put out salt blocks and feed for the deer because of the CWD. Anyone else heard of this? I'm in 4 B.

If your area is CWD you better not even throw your table scraps outside.

If your camp is in a DMA (Disease Management Area) then you are forbidden to feed the deer at any time not to mention all the other things a hunter has to do if he/she does harvest a deer within the DMA's.
Find the most up to date DMA Maps and see if you are within those areas. If you are, read up on all the rules and help minimize the exposure to the rest of the state.

If you live in a DMA area, then no, you aren't supposed to feed the deer. My area of 5A/5B was under the DMA until this year and I can say that I am glad to be able to feed them again.
