DMA-2 called PGC?

There still has not been a decision made on how they are going to handle the selling of permits for this area ?

You would think they would have it in place by now. I think it was a system that worked pretty dang good except for some computer glitches in the last segment. Thing like that can be worked out though. However 3 years ago when it first started the Director put out an executive order starting this program where the only communication was via newspaper, radio, and social media. They did a great job in 3 years. They also seemed like there was an effort put in to it to hit the targeted areas. Also since it was a very important management tool the price was fair even for me as a non resident. I just heard the other day where more cases was released in my area of DMA-2.

I am sure they will have a system in place and well-advertised before it is time for people to apply for a license or do any deer hunting.

As I stated I though the last few years was a pretty good system. They changed the boundaries as seen fit actually the DMA got bigger but with same amount of permits as last year. The only thing I hope they don't do is change it to DMAP as a rumor I heard. A non resident dmap sells for around 35.00 vs. the dma-2 resident or non resident for 6.70.

The PGC announced a a month ago that they are doing away with the DMA tags altogether. The DMA-2 area I believe will be changed somewhat and now will be covered by DMAP tags. They were also going to have sharp shooters eliminate a bunch of deer along the I-99 corridor where CWD has been most prevalent.

The horizon is your starting point.

I also heard rumor of sharpshooters to do the job in Bedford County.

Just love the sharp shooter deal. Was wondering if that was real or glorified rumor.

Licenses go on sale and DMAP permits can be bought in a couple weeks if they are indeed going to go the DMAP route.

don't wish things were easier;
wish you were smarter.
