Smile Red Tag farms

HI All, been a while since ive been on here, but hoping to get back into the site more now that im settled and fully back on my own two feet again. looking to find local Red Tag Farms to try and get a deer for venison since i have my own place again and want to keep food costs down. i know you write to the game commission for a list but thought this may be quicker. always got great info and met some great people on here and miss this site.

anyone know of any red tag farms in the altoona, state college, huntingdon areas (or within an hour drive or so) to try and get a deer soon. thank ya kindly... wn

Thanks, ive been so busy moving and getting back on my feets, it hasn't been a priority until now. just could use some venison to keep food costs down until i figure out business and some other life stuff.

Contact the WCO for your area (via the PGC Region Office in Huntingdon at 814-643-1831) and advise that you could use a deer for consumption if one were to become available.

remember, you are allowed one deer per property. if the properties are close enough, go get two. i had a WCO check my license during deer season this year, he had an illegally taken 4 point that he gave me. great guys, polite, friendly, professional, just nice to be around.

i bet the people they actually fine might feel the same about their demeanor too. hard to get mad at Officers with their attitudes.
