Day 2 - November 29th

Thoughts on second day? Ive had great luck over the years on day 2 but many hate it. What's your thoughts?

Good luck in the AM folks. Be safe!

You want me to put my ear to the ground? Listen for hoof beats? Look for broken twigs?

Gonna wait and see in the morning. If its heavy rain, its a no go, when it slows down I may go out for a walk.

Probably bag it with the rain. If anything, take the gun for a walk around home.

Wife is having a minor medical procedure on Tuesday, so no hunting for me. Besides, it looks to be very wet Tue & Wed, so I probably won't get out until Thursday. Probably walk the trails through the scrubs, hoping to bump something.

Im eating breakfast getting ready for the 1 hour ride to my buddies place. I will dress to get wet. Once I am wet it will be story time in the shop. Good luck and be safe everyone.

I doing an all day sit with my bow in a thick funnel. Never heard any shots close yesterday and the deer should be in their normal feeding patterns and hope to see some bucks searching for does. Taking the tree umbrella and rain gear and I'm thinking even a bad day in the tree is better than going to work.

The older I get the better I was.

PA Bone....all props for hunting on a day like today with the bow.

I am very thankful that I killed a 6 pt yesterday around 1 pm and don't need to go out today.

Good luck to all who brave the elements.

My weather app is telling me the rain is all but done for the day. I'll be out from dark until dark pending some success.

Shoot straight no matter your means.

Woke up to dense fog and rain. Had planned on being out all day but then I remembered I got my buck yesterday and went back to sleep. I would still hunt in the rain, I have had success doing it. You can sneak in the wet leaves, the deer will be moving or you will atleast get them moving. Good luck.

Was out this morning and got soaked. I'll be out again before dark.
