Year came in with a "Bang"

Pop and I went down to Va to close out the 15/16 deer season. The evening of January 1st we doubled on 2 nice doe. It's rare when he and I double so I was pretty pumped. He shot his at 4:18 with his ole reliable Remington 760 270 and I shot mine at 4:41 with my trusty 788 243. We then celebrated on the 2nd by eating a nice seafood supper. I put this collage together of our trip.

I even got to do a little trapping while I was down there! Lol

Was wondering the same thing! I know prices are down but that mouse had a thick un-rubbed hide!! Lol. Plus there wasn't any hide damage I had to sew up! Hehe

Good collage of pictures of some good times.

"Mouse picture not so much" I think they are disgusting to look at, although I do set out a trap line for them. lol
