Possible dalls sheep of the year and it's mine

After an unsuccessful hunt in 2011,My second dalls sheep hunt is now complete , this time a success beyond my wildest dreams. 42 inch ram 14 years old. A Boone and crocket contender. Pics and story will follow when my buddy posts the pics.

Congrats, 42 inch is a monster. I sure miss hunting them, I lived in Alaska for 16 yrs and think sheep meat is the best.

Re: Possible dalls sheep of the year and it's mine

Congrats on a super ram . . . I got my Dall ram in 2009 and it is still hard to believe sometimes that it really happened. However, the full-size body mount in the living room is proof that it did indeed happen. Those 9 days in the Wrangell mountains of Alaska were both hard and wonderful. You will relive those days in your mind forever.
