Doe Tag question

Anyone else notice that in the regulation book, on page 34, under Application Status, it says "successful applicants will receive their antlerless deer licenses after the 2nd Monday in September"?

I don't have last years book to check, but has it always said this? I remember getting my doe tag in late July last year.

Re: Doe Tag question

Page 46 of last year's book (2014) says regular and first round unsold successful applicants will have their licenses mailed no later than the second Monday in Sept. (the 10th)

Second round unsold mailed no later than Sept 24.

Re: Doe Tag question

Yep, no later than is correct. You may even get them sooner or never depending where you send it.

Re: Doe Tag question

But it says that you will receive them AFTER, not NO LATER THAN.

That is where I am confused.

Re: Doe Tag question

I would just relax and wait. If it gets there 1 day before you intend to use it, you'll be fine. Seems to me they've been coming earlier and earlier the past few years.

Re: Doe Tag question

Because we start the process earlier and earlier every year. Bought my license today. This is the earliest I ever did that.

Re: Doe Tag question

i was told last year by the Treasurer that they waited to make sure the checks cleared before they sent out the tags.

Re: Doe Tag question

Ridiculously early application. Another reason to take the treasurers out of the loop.

Re: Doe Tag question

I'm not all too concerned...just wanted to make sure that they came before Sept. 19th. The 2nd Monday in Sept. is the 14th, and the season opens on the 19th.

Sure am gonna love the chance to whack a buck in September this year!
