DMAP/tried to get!

By 9:01 AM,yesterday,i had my hunting lic. I had the agent put in for a DMAP permit for a place that has 100 tags. This is 60 seconds after Lic. sales started and there were non left?????????
How can this be???? It was just on a wim that i tried to get one. We have been trying for 4 years to get just one permit for there!
We have ask people who work there how to get one and they said if we figure out how to do it to let them know!!!!

Re: DMAP/tried to get!

License sales started at 12:00 midnight on Sunday night. Actually didn't start taking them till about 12:10, but you get the point. If you wait, you have much less of a chance to get a DMAP for the unit(s) you desire. I'm assuming the same problems will be encountered if they go to the same system for doe tags, just much, much worse.

I agree...The DAMP is a mirror to what is coming for doe tags.

Re: DMAP/tried to get!

That could be a good thing. With DMAPs they have 300 at best, less than 50 for most but with doe tags it will be thousands.

From what I read and my own reason for getting it all out or the way on Monday was the DMAP tag out my back door. Now I can sit back and wait till July 12th to send in for the antlerless tag in the area I intended to use it.

Sounded like many who rushed for the DMAPS wanted to be able to harvest a doe in the first week where the split seasons were initiated.
I would like being able to buy all my licenses at one time so if they do issue doe tags like they are with the DMAPS its OK with me.

Dont tell anyone but you can also go onto the DMV's website and renew that old camp trucks tags or boat trailer you forgot about at 02:00 too

Guy who comes up and hunts with me forgot to buy his bear tag last year and didn't realize it was open in my WMU the whole first week of rifled deer so he purchased his Sunday night and wrote down the transaction number but they mailed him the bear license 2 weeks later. Turned out it was a donation to the PGC fund

Re: DMAP/tried to get!

Sold out or rejected? Some DMAP areas are in red and say the PGC has rejected any dMAP tags for that area.

Thank God I'm an American, and not a democrat!
