Re: Colorado unit 61

I haven't only due to not having enough points. I hunted 62 3 years ago just across from 61 on the Divide road. We actually rented a cabin from an outfitter and stayed on the 61 side. Its a trophy area and recquires a ton of points. If I ad that many I would do it. We thought those bulls would come over to 62 side, not a chance they know where to stay. The outfitter I mentioned I can give you his number if you desire. He had a hunter there with a voucher and shot a smaller bull second day. needless to say the outfitter wasent to happy. They was actually seeing 30 bulls a day. How many points do you have? My buddys have around 14 and cant draw.

Decktech:

If you want to go the guided route, I book for Garvey Brothers in GMU 61. They do have 2nd rifle season openings for elk. Sent you a PM.

Garvey Brothers is a top notch operation, if you're going to 61 go with them!
