I know we're not supposed to laugh at people's misfortunes, but sometimes it just tastes so danged good.
My neighbor's teenage son got into telling us how us geezers have to be extra careful cause we're not wise to these modern scams and could lose a lot.

Yep, his second day at college. They phished him like they were taking candy from a baby. Lol, he said he got a call from the bank that afternoon and the guy on the other end told him there was a problem with his account. All he had to do was give the man his account number and his pin number and it would be straightened out immediately. $1500 doesnt seem like a lot now, but in 1990 that was the money that would cover his meals, snacks, laundry, and the trip to the college bookstore. It was a costly lesson, but he's a lot more respectful of us geezers now.
