I honestly can’t decide what is more upsetting to me, the fact that the BOC passes this or hearing hearing guys tell other hunters how it’s ok that you traditions get ruined, you can just hunt Monday, the opener isn’t anything special, go to camp Friday...............

Adults help build the excitement and magic for kids and grandkids.
Honestly, if you toss that excitement and magic aside, you took it from the grandkids, not the PGC.

Sorry if that sounds harsh, but it's reality.
I would not take the fun out it for my guys, I'm not as stupid or as hateful as you think. Just wanted them to have what some of us had. Sorry if that sounds harsh, but it's reality.

And what exactly was that?
What was important to you as a kid? Hunting with your elders, right?
Did it make a single whit's difference if that experience happened to be day 1 or 2 or 3?
Sounds like they'll get exactly what you had. Quality time with Gramps sharing a passion for hunting.

Hey ruger, isn’t it amazing how some will tell you how to experience your traditions?

It's more amazing that some won't answer directly if "tradition" is about being first or the experience of hunting with their traditional cohorts.

Its just time to make new memories on a different day, but the same traditions. Each camp is different!

Take this for what its worth, some of you guys suck and you know who you are. just re-read this thread to find out. slapping yourselves on the back while driving a wedge between the ranks.

same as the anti-gun threads. some of you mensa members just cant see whats happening. the Democrats are winning and you guys are laughing and self congratulating.

what you (WE) should be doing is calling our reps and demanding the give the PGC the fee increases they are asking for instead of doing what you geniuses are doing.
