Lost power in Laporte but that was it. Heard the same thing about Dushore but did not go up that way.

Had to head out west on I-80 this morning. Heavy winds and rain and snow squalls they entire trip. What happened to spring?

WNEP had Dushore on the 6 o clock. Trees down all over. Friend reporting from Lopez said minimal damage and none to his camp. Going to check on one tomorrow located on 57. Waugh!

WNEP is reporting that 3 EF-1s hit the area. One near Kingsley, one near Benton and another in Union County near Buffalo Valley.

It looks like the high school in Millville lost its roof but that may have been straight line winds.

BTW it is a beautiful morning. I wanted to fish the Susquehanna but that ain't going to happen. It was high and just over the bank yesterday. Today will be worse.

I visited Dushore today. Lots of damage and many still without power.

Millers Car Lot office is on the ground. The Sullivan Terrace looks like a timber landing. The parking lot has piles of logs in it and there are a few trees in the roof in addition to many tress down all around it. There are many trees down around Millers Pond and a smashed mobile trailer on the road in front of the pond . Marybeth is using a generator. The church steeple has damage that I could see from Hurley's. Not good.

BTW I was here when the storm passed. I've been close to a few tornados. They sound like a freight train. I had "something" heading north pass over the house during the storm but it did no damage. This was seconds after my phone received a tornado alert. When it passed I thought it was a tornado that had not reached the ground. Now I suspect it was straight line winds and the damage in Dushore seemed to indicate straight line winds. Dushore is due north of me. I'm feeling very lucky!!!

Dushore has been hit with some pretty damaging weather over the last several years. They need a break.

They sure do!

This is the 3rd or 4th major incident in about 10 years.

BTW I did not see any evidence of flooding, just wind.
