Oil for spring-piston setups?

Been years since I spent much time shooting them. I have a Beeman I put thousands of pellets through as a kid, but I don't remember what my dad used for oil in it.

Google-fu is turning up a lot of convoluted "answers".

I do recall that the seal at the barrel breech needs to be oiled and then some oil has to go into the chamber where the piston is located, and that it has to be the proper oil for that purpose.

What oils are you all using?

I'd like to start doing some backyard practice with my daughter, and this is something we can do without the neighbors having an aneurysm.

Go to Pyramid Air's website and type "oil" into the search bar.

You'll find several options.
