Another question. The way I read the regs. I can use any snare, with approved locks, for beaver. They don't have to be cable restraint. Am I right??

ill be setting a few tomorrow hopefully. without snow im not hopeful of catching but they definitely wont catch anything in my shed. i have a few four wheeler trails ill try out.

It is a little more difficult to catch them without snow to show you exactly where they are traveling, but it is still worth the effort to narrow down those travel corridors.
I find it to be very rewarding catching them without the aid of snow.
Even in terrain like this it's possible to squeeze them down and catch them in the wide open.
I just caught a whiff of fox scent when I saw that last pic. Thats awesome!
