Good luck.I hope someone on here can help you.I've fished Canada for 20 years It going to be hard to find good walleye fishing that far south at least I never could.
When I was in my teens, my dad took me to laverendre provincial park three times. We tent camped and fished small lakes, most under a thousand acres and caught lots of walleye and pike. There are 2 large lakes (lac dozior and grand lac Victoria) that have cabins and larger boats, but we never fished them.
Lots of eater walleye. My best was a 7.5lb blue walleye.
It seems that the lakes close to the border are fished hard. IMO, rent a state park cabin at pymatuning, and keep your money in the us.
That is also my experience. Fish Rideau chain every year and have never seen a walleye. Only quality walleye fishing I have had is fly in camps in Quebec.

I've fished Buckshot Lake and done well for walleye. Majority of fish 15-22 inches, but easy to catch limits each day. Here's the place I stayed http://www.buckshotlakecamp.com/

For many years my dad and I rented a cabin for a week on Indian Lake of the Rideau chain. We fished mainly Indian, Clear and Newboro Lakes. Never knew it as a walleye lake at all but plenty of largemouth & smallmouth bass and pike along with lots of panfish. Fun memories of that place, both on and off the water.
Buckshot lake is a fun walleye lake, been there five or six times. Always stayed at white birch lodge though ( the other lodge on the lake). As fish culturist said lots of 18-22, maybe a few over 24". Haven't been there in 10 years though.
Be very careful what zone you are in, the area around the Rideau Chain only allows 2 walleyes, and they must be between @15 and 19 inches.... really stinks throwing back all the big ones.
Wolfe lake in the rideau area is a good walleye lake, or so I am told.
