Thanks for all the help. The furnace was installed with 3 zones. Zone 1 and 2 were completed for the other levels when they built the house. Zone 3 was untapped and was meant for the basement. I finally got around to plumbing and installing the thermostat, and baseboard heater in the basement. I went to wire in the thermostat and was confused when I saw the zone control valve was wired into zone 3 on the board.
I have added some more pictures.
"I thought" this was the control valve for the domestic hot water.
