Traditional Blades

Anyone know a source of traditional patch knife type blades? Of a way to remove the name of the manufacturers etching / engraving off a blade?

I started one with a Green River blank and it just doesn't look right. Thanks.

To remove an etch, sand with fine grit paper (600-1000) then polish.
engraving.... prolly not....
