CASE Collectors: Question

Bought a knife at auction today.

I have it identified as a Case - stamped right at the back of the blade.

BUT - that is all that is stamped there. Further, there is no XX - no fancy lettering, no mention of Bradford - no dots.

Spent a lot of time online looking but no idea of manufacture date or other information..

I do know it is a Case Fixed Blade 4" - mushroom head.

Appreciate any help with proper ID, age, value.

Is your position a short term gain - or a long term loss? Separate the issues.

Does this have a proper /manufactures name or do I mostly have it right?

that is the correct tang stamp for that time period (for fixed blades)
