Just a little custom knife.

Well folks here is a little custom knife I made up. Every year I donate a knife for our local public library fundraiser. This years is special. The wood for the display and also the lighter color wood in the handle came from a local barn. While I dont know the age of the barn I know the house was from the 1800's and I suspect the barn not long after. Part of the barn was being taken down and I asked if I could buy some of the wood to use for this knife. The owner graciously said to take a few pieces. The blade is 0-1 tool steel. Handle is the barn wood, ebony and blue spacers. Brass on each end of the handle too. I figured i would get a little fancy with the display and make it look like a barn kinda!.

Hope everyone is getting some time in their shops. Have a great Thanksgiving.

Ross

Is there a public auction to bid on your handy work? It's surely a great looking knife.
