New girlfriend

Sorry for the crap pic, she's still a bit shy.

BCM 18" 410 SS, KMR 13" handguard.
BCM Gunfighter pistol grip MOD1
Magpul ACS stock
Old Bushy lower I had
Geissele SSA trigger
American Defense Recon H QD scopemount/rings
Vortex Viper PST 2.5-10x44 EBR 1 Mrad
Still have to change out the trigger guard to a BCM.

Need to order some BUIS and a VTAC sling.

I sure hope she like CFE223, BLC2 and 77 OTM's, cause I might have over ordered. lol

Re: New girlfriend

I like it!!!

What are your thoughts on the SSA as a trigger as a combat trigger?? Most guys say its awesome...I like a nice trigger...inwas planning one on in my lower...

Still waiting on the upper to get in stock...

How long did it take from the day you submitted till the upper came?

What muzzle break? Looks like a A2 birdcage?

I love the SS...just looks clean...wish the 14.5 ELWF came in it!

Re: New girlfriend

I like the SSA for what it is, a rugged reliable trigger that has a decent pull weight. If a guy is looking for a match type trigger that breaks like glass, this is not the one to buy. This rifle will see a lot of range/field time and some varmint hunting across the border.

Muzzle devise is just a plain old A2. If I end up changing it out I would more than likely go with one of Surefires flash hiders.

I ordered my upper at 11.00pm on a Friday the 14th and had it Wednesday the 19th,that's pretty good service.

Re: New girlfriend

Nice rifle...

It is foolish and wrong to mourn the men who died. Rather we should thank God that such men lived.

Re: New girlfriend

Have not had the time to work up a load, but was itching to try her out. Went to the range with a box of Norma 77 OTM match. I was pretty dang happy with the results. I shot three five shot groups with the best being just over .5 MOA and the worst being a tick over 1 MOA. I shot one 5 shot group of some cheap 55 grain Dogtown re-loads I had and they grouped right at 1.5moa.

I'm pretty happy with the short time I spent with the rifle. I see no reason why this rifle won't be a solid .75 moa gun with a little load workup, maybe even better.

Re: New girlfriend

Really could not be happier. I'm real happy that it likes the 77 OTM's and I have not had a single issue with reliability.

On a side note, I just ordered a 16" CHF FN barrel from PSA. Need something to do when hunting slows down.

Re: New girlfriend

Finally got it ordered!! Today!!

Of course I decided on the PWS brake and it isn't in stock so I went with the BCM..

Other than that I did get the 10" KMR like I wanted...will make going to a SBR easy if I want..without buying the handguard...

Gotta get my lower ordered now!
