Guys, make your own, not that hard. Just get the 550 cord, and you can make all types of stuff, i.e. dog leashes, braclets, keyfobs, etc. They make all kinds of snaps to include as well. I have seen snaps thats are aslo survival whistles! you can even make yourselves belts...not that hard believe me. Directions can be found on indestructables.
I would like to make a rifle sling, but have not had the time as of late.
Here is a quick tutorial on the knoting. Same principles can be used with the 550 cord as the gimp also.
+1 on what dingo said. I've made numerous of my own and it is not difficult. You can get pretty creative and make it to your own needs and specs. I learned from reading an article on the internet about it and just started doing it one day.
The ad for these kept popping up on my facebook account so after seeing it a hundred times I finally checked it out. Seemed like a pretty cool idea so I broke down and bought a bracelet (~16' paracord) and a key fob (~6'paracord). Price was a lil high, but I don't have the patience to make my own. Product was very well-made and you can specify what color(s) you'd like them in. Have alot of people commenting on them since my purchase. Dunno if I'd ever have to use them tactically, but it's nice to know they're around.
