I wasn't really impressed with their lens quality…I think for the money you can find others that will serve you better.

Re: Huskemaw scopes??

Guy shooting at the raange last summer had one, I asked to look thru it. Glass seemed clear. But I would never buy one with their 1/3rd min adjustments. Heck, I have not figgered out how to adjust quarter minute scopes yet.

Re: Huskemaw scopes??

I wouldnt bother with them, Leupold is fine, Vortex and if you really want nice Nightforce NXS are a bit heavy but tough as nails,
you are way better off learning MOA or MILS then you wont need the "calibrated turrets" witch only work for a certain load at a certain evevation and conditions as if that dont change.
get a scope with reliable tracking like the Leupold LRT or Mark 4 and did i say forget the "calibrated turrets"

A "clip" is a clip, aka Def: a device, typically flexible or worked by a spring, for holding an object or objects together or in place.
a "Magazine" is a magazine aka Def: a chamber for holding a supply of cartridges to be fed automatically to the breech of a gun.

so a "clip" holds the "magazine" in place. get it?

Re: Huskemaw scopes??

Buy one and don't look back ! I have one on my longrange 300 ultra mag and love it . I will be buying the newer blue diamond in a couple months when my new custom is done . They track flawlessly , good clear glass , the wind hash marks speak for themselves once you use it and there lighter than a nightforce . People that bash on them or don't suggest them are people that havent used one . The warranty is unconditional lifetime . I have an original one and it's still awesome . I will say that the wind hash marks are the cats butt . I would challange anyone to shoot on a windy day without windage hash marks to listen to them say thay want one . The scope is easy to use .

personally if I am going to get to the 1K or more mark for a good scope it's NF all the way for me. NXS, ATACR, Etc. can't beat them and you can get almost any 1/4 or 1/8 and a huge selection of reticles

To Crush your enemys, See them driven before you, and hear the lamentation of there women.

i would be too embarassed to post that i bought a huskemaw or hunt Colorado! with their new gun laws etc... make sure you get your medical marijuana lisc for after your hunt.
just my opinion of course...sounds like a package deal from Gunwerks?

Re: Huskemaw scopes??

I can't speak for Huskemaw but since we're voicing opinions; Nightforce and Leupold are PROVEN, who is Huskemaw? I think calibrated turrets are a gimmick, and I say that no matter who brings them out whether it's Nighforce, Leupold or S&B. I'm not knocking the guys that do the show "Best of the West" he's a decent shot and a good salesman and is very knowledgeable. But, to produce a show and make anything Long Range look simple is a farce, there is nothing simple about about it, it takes time, dedication and tons of practice. I think he introduced the "Calibrated" turret as a sales gimmick to make every Tom, Dick and Harry think they could put it on they're Factory 300WM and instantly make an ethical kill shot at 800 yards.

Don't get me wrong, I love long range shooting and do as much as possible to promote it, but, it needs to be promoted in a realistic manner. I've seen many people get infatuated with the thought that haven't a clue; Go and buy a ton of stuff on a whim and 6 months down the road sell it because it doesn't work.

Who knows, maybe Huskemaw is the next greatest thing, I hope it is, but for now, I'll let others do the testing. .

300 Norma- that is kinda funny
