Long range Deer

Who is going to be setting up or intentionally trying to shoot their deer at LONG range this year?? I finished up my rig and now just have to verify a few drop charts for temps when they change but it's mostly ready to go!

What's your definition of long range?

I carry a gun because I'm to young to die and to old to take a ass whipping.

Well over 500 I guess for most.
Personally I am going for 800+ for a buck or 1100+ for doe. Specialty set up obviously

To each there own. To me in RIFLE that's the only thing that makes it fun. Dialing in and making a 1000+ shot

They do it a lot up in potter. The perch up on the look outs near cherry spring, PA grand canyon they do it for bear, and last year saw some guys perched looking over Pine creek near waterville. Me personally i would not try to shoot a deer long range like that no matter what kind of equipment I have. To much of a risk to injure the animal IMO.

Dragman you almost got me on this one. Obviously you are trying to stir the pot. Nobody would purposely try to shoot a deer at long range for fun! lol
