Need a new toy

I am itching to get a new long range toy. Not sure what direction I want to go this time lol. I haven't done much in a few months and I am going crazy.
Chassis VS Tactical VS Benchrest stocks
Small caliber 6 creedmoor, dasher, 6x47
Big 300 ultra, Norma, 338lapua.
Maybe something in the middle.
I usually have a feel for what I want to play with next but I am blank..... I just know I am ready to play with something. Anyone else have this problem

lol, nope i have a 6.5x47 Lapua and 300 Norma Magnum..i'm good!

larger calibers are more expensive to shoot!

do you currently shoot any matches? do you want to hunt with it? if so what and how far?

what do you consider long range? ill -- with ya...we have spoke before...

-I have shot them all (maybe not every variation but close)
-I don't mind expensive big stuff. I have played with plenty of lapua's and variations over the years.
-Used to shoot Ridgway VBR (might make a comeback) I really just hunt ground hogs and shoot rocks for the most part lol I need a minimum of 1200 yard capable, but would like to be able to be competitive at a mile for the fun of it.

my forum name says i all 300NM 230 Berger tgt hybrid was my choice. 338NM would be my next.

Didn't you sell a 300WM to a pretty notorious elk hunter out west? bet that hurt!!!

i hunt so i just cant break down and buy a flat bottom stock and join the BR crowd, bi pod or tripod all the way for me.

arent you located west of Indiana a bit above Delmon? Bruno built my 300NM

I like the Norma cases. I am really thinking a 338 norma might be the ticket.

I use a bipod no matter what I shoot flat bottom or not I am just weird like that. I have also sold so many guns to so many people I can't keep up. Yes just north of Delmont. Bruno has built a lot of guns I have had. I prefer to buy them used as I don't like to wait though. LOL

i hear that! i got a tri pod from McFadden machine near there, love it, check them out.

Ultimate Tripod Info

I shot against a 338NM several times at 1250yds and thought my 300NM with 208Amax at the time at 3100fps would kick butt against that slow log 300gr @2850ish....LOL NOT! i hit a rock and saw a poof of dust and he knocked chunks off! with less dope than me both ways. Then we shot steel out to 1K at Mifflin and i had to put a stop to him shooting first. I shot and ting, he shot and the steel fell over...gone! Wait a minute i called! let me shoot first! repeatedly ting then gone lol!

now Lapua is making brass for them in factory loadings for now...soon to be released, that would be a good choice. I bought 5 boxes ABM before they became Berger and got Lapua brass!

magazine not snapped in the whole way, running 230 Bergers now

Ryan Pierce is making a 300NM imp but i don't feel that need to add more powder to mine lol!

90gr RL33 makes more speed and BLAST but i settled on 84gr H1000 , shot 4 deer with it this year.

i'm good to a mile with this and don't feel i need a 338 yet

300NM is the ultimate 1 mile cartridge if you follow it?

300 Werewolf brings a ear to my eye? good heavens! 142gr H2O !!! 300NM 105gr!

30prc is cool but i dislike the CM lol! with Lapua making 300NM brass, im glad i chose it! Bruno has my reamer. we split cost and he keeps it. i should be no far off from a new bbl.

A "clip" is a clip, aka Def: a device, typically flexible or worked by a spring, for holding an object or objects together or in place.
a "Magazine" is a magazine aka Def: a chamber for holding a supply of cartridges to be fed automatically to the breech of a gun.

so a "clip" holds the "magazine" in place. get it?
