Looking for a new scope for my 30-06. I'd like something reasonably priced if anyone has an suggestions.

Re: New scope

If you can find a Simmons Aetek ( i think they may be discontinued) or a Tasco world class. in the $50-100 range I have had pretty good success with them.

Re: New scope

I have a Redfield 3-9x40 on mine. Made by Leupold..as good or better than a VX1. Should be able to find something under $200.00.

Another good option is to watch for a Bushnell Elite 3200 or 4200. You can get good used 3200's under $150 and 4200's under $200.

Re: New scope

I like Leupold. I think they are dependable clear and have a lifetime warranty. A 3x9 is around 200. Matt

Re: New scope

I just ordered a Vortex Diamondback 2-7x35 from Cameraland NY for My 243. It's a demo unit and paid $165 for it. It should be here later this week.
