Mifflin County Ground Hog Shoot

This Saturday is the first one of the Season, Sign up begins at 7:00 shooting at 9:00.

This year you'll need to plan on bring your own food and drink. Last years cook had to take a sabbatical for personal reasons and there isn't anyone else there willing to take his place.

If you haven't been there before it's unlimited sighters and 15 rounds for score. 5 each at 200, 300, and 500 Yards. If it's windy I like to have 40 or 50 rounds total, if it isn't you can get away with as little as 20 or 25, I don't recommend it though. $12 a gun, good, friendly, helpful people and a very relaxed environment.

Re: Mifflin County Ground Hog Shoot

i'm working on meeting a friend there.

A "clip" is a clip, aka Def: a device, typically flexible or worked by a spring, for holding an object or objects together or in place.
a "Magazine" is a magazine aka Def: a chamber for holding a supply of cartridges to be fed automatically to the breech of a gun.

so a "clip" holds the "magazine" in place. get it?
